An AFP financial cop returns to his home-town and gets drawn into the investigation of a murder-suicide involving his childhood best mate.
This is a very well-written book. Great story, I would have given it five stars but I unfortunately guessed the ending way too quickly. That's the only fault though, and it was still a very captivating read. The characters were all well constructed and written, and the setting was portrayed brilliantly. I will definitely pick up anything else Jane Harper writes. If her debut is this good, I can't wait for the next one.
